I was falling; falling faster and faster.
Blackness had engulfed me, blinding me to my surroundings. As much as I wanted to scream, I couldn't. I had to brave this storm that was coming. Screaming, begging would do me no good. My fate was sealed.
Having dealt with Lucifer before, I knew showing fear would only benefit him. Admitting my own anguish would only please him. Giving him the opposite of what he wanted wouldn't make things any better, though. It would just make him angry; make him hurt me more until I gave in. I was screwed either way.
Thinking about what was to come surprisingly calmed me. I knew this had been coming all along,
